Avocado and Mixed Berry Smoothie Bowl 


My first attempt at a smoothie bowl! I felt absolutely stuffed after eating it and was pleasantly surprised on how filling it was. This recipe caters for 1 person. You can use any berries and toppings that you like. Get creative! 

Ingredients:

  • Handful of frozen cherries 
  • Handful of frozen strawberries
  • Handful of winter berries 
  • 1 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp porridge oats 
  • Half an avocado
  • Half a lime
  • A squeeze of honey
  • Water

Topping:

  • Seeds 
  • Mixed nuts 
  • 1 strawberry 
  • 1 passion fruit 

Method:

  1. Put all the ingredients into a blender and blitz. Add water to create a consistency and thickness that suits you. 
  2. To create the beautiful topping I cut up a strawberry and placed the pieces in the middle. On one side of the strawberries I sprinkled some mixed nuts. Then on the other side, I sprinkled some mixed seeds and passion fruit. Use any toppings you want and create your own masterpiece.
